Allow users to customize the 'new look' and not always reset to default view

Frankly, my preference is the 'old look' because of the relative ease of use as compared to the 'new look'. Now that users have no choice to switch back, please allow us to fixate how we want to view instead of always resetting back to default view. Example is when I do filter to see only dashboard, it should remain that way until i change or reset the filter. Overall, I still prefer the 'old' look where the dashboards and reports are clearly segregated.
