Allow pinning of a shared dashboard's reports to a new personal dashboard

Seems like I can't pin a chart from another persons shared dashboard to my new personal dashboard. IT would be nice to be able to use their report on my own personal version of the dashboard.

Copying a report to the target Workspace, and pinning from the copy is a good alternative but unsupportable. We've been doing this as a workaround but it's impossible to keep track of the copied reports and to retrofit any changes to the copied reports. **We really need the ability to pin from a shared report to a workspace of my choice.

I created a report a published it to a workspace, and I can't pin this report to the dashboard in my personal workspace (different from the one it was published in). I was somehow able to do this for some other report, but can't figure out what made me able to do it with that one.

In deed this should be even cross-Workspace/App! What's the definition of a dashboard (stolen from my former manager): It's the screen you look at in the morning to decide if you need to work or you can go directly to the golf course. So you need to have that single page bringing all relevant information together at a single place. And this needs to be very personalized because the numbers relevant for you might be completely different from any other employee in your organization. And it should be cross-workspace/app because you might be interested in not only sales, procurement or finance, it might be something of everything. And having to click through different workspaces/apps is not really a nice job...

It would be important to be able to person who has access to a report from an app, can pin a tile to her personal worskpace in a new dashboard. With lots of users accessing the workspace, it can became confusing lots of personal dashboards in the same workspace.

This is a fantastic idea. There needs to be not just personal dashboards but the report developers need to be able to create Executive Dashboards. For example, create a dashboard for CEO, CFO, COO. The visualizations on those dashboards need to be able to come from different workspaces. For example, a visual from a Financials workspace, a visual from a Sales workspace, one from a Marketing workspace, one from a product workspace.

Has this been reviewed lately? With apps / workspaces phasing out content packs, it is ideal for users to be able to pull report visualizations to their own personal workspace dashboard so not taking up space in the group workspace. Please consider!!
