Allow objects to be aligned all the way to the top of a report page

When in focus, all objects have a border that does not allow them to be top-aligned with a page's border. This is especially unfortunate for images.

With the new 'visual header' you can position items right to the top of a page. For existing reports you may need to turn this on explicitly - go to File -> Options -> Current File/Report Settings and choose to use the 'Modern visual header'.

Images should be either treated as a different object element so that they can be used in any corner of the screen without limitations or to allow the objects to fall out of the visual canvas.

I would like to see more of these in the upcoming releases. Having the ability to make the canvas more graphically appealing with image objects that can be moved around and placed on borders of the screen.

Background image is ok but not cool when having floating images as objects. Can't be used on the edges of the screen.

I wish we could turn off a static image's border from showing. Many people want to add images in the background. However, every time we mouse pointer goes over an image, the image is highlighted. This is very very annoying especially when we want to click on the data field, NOT the image.

Agreed, but I think the better suggestion would be to be able to hide the top bar or incorporate it into the title. This way alignment would work better overall, not only at the top of the page.

agreed - while the data is important, our designers also have a say, and our clients demand something pretty. having a gap around a background image is unacceptable to them.

it is strange this is listed as an idea, to me this is just basic functionality.
