Allow copy and paste between different PBIX's

Often we need to expand on an idea from one report further and copy and paste visuals/pages from one PBIX to another. This would be a huge productivity and quality benefit.

Recreating a visual in a separate report can take tons of time just to get the visual details right (fonts, background, colors, etc). Most times I want to use the same visual backbone to plot different data.

I completely agree with this. It would save me a lot of time if I could simply copy and paste certain visual "styles" to a new .pbix and simply just change the data it is using in the new report.

Totally understand the 'underlying data dependencies' but a simple copy/paste and we'll take care of data dependencies... at least to not have to re-create all visuals from scratch. thanks !!

This is being requested from our users too! Any update on if (or hopefully when!) this will be on a roadmap?

My colleague and I made the dashboard and then we had to show it for our director. We tried to merge it but unsucessufully ( Could you add this oportunately to this soft?

To the admin saying this is hard - skip the dependencies, we can add those ourselves. I just need the exact visual and fields.

Would really like this to have been done already....without it my task is going to take a lot longer now.

I would hope its possible to allow copy and paste, and to raise an error if the underlying data source is incompatible, and then allow the user to fix if there is an error?

Very critical ant a true efficiency gain. I am with others in that we can fix the errors if any exist.
