I love using calculation groups in Power BI—they make managing dynamic measures like time intelligence so much cleaner. But when I use them in the columns of a matrix table visual, I can’t sort each column individually (like sorting by YOY% or Actuals). It only allows sorting by one grand totals column, which limits interactivity.
Would be great if Power BI allowed independent column sorting when calculation groups are used, just like how Excel lets you sort by any column. This would make reports way more user-friendly and reduce the need for workarounds or duplicated measures or exporting to Excel.
