Currently the Power BI Service only allows admins to enable or disable subscriptions at the tenant level. I am requesting the ability for admins to granularly control which subscription options are allowed, as well as the ability to enable or disable subscriptions based on Microsoft's standard security model.
To expand on the first request, we are a healthcare support organization which uses data analytics to enable insights which drives patient treatments for our customers, which are healthcare systems. Therefore our Power BI dashboards and reports contain extensive amounts of PHI. We love the idea of subscriptions for our customers as this allows them to more easily access important data. However, due to the fact that we can't disable certain features, like preview images used in the subscription emails as they often will contain PHI, we cannot use subscriptions at all and have to disable them tenant-wide. If we had the ability to turn off just that one subscription option then we could enable subscriptions.
The other suggestion here is to allow the enabling and disabling of subscriptions via the standard Microsoft security model, i.e. allowing subscriptions to be enabled on a per user or per group basis.
