In Power BI Service, when exporting a report to PowerPoint, the “Export as image” option allows exporting either the current page or the entire report.
However, when selecting “Embed live data”, the export is limited to only the current page. There is no option to export the full report (multiple pages) with live data embedded.
This creates a limitation for business presentations where users want:
• All report pages included in a single PowerPoint file
• Each slide to retain live interactivity
• Consistent behavior between “Export as image” and “Embed live data”
Suggested improvement:
• Add an option in “Embed live data” to export the entire report (all pages), similar to the existing behavior for image export.
This would significantly improve usability for stakeholders who rely on live, interactive PowerPoint presentations.
