We are in the process of moving ODBC connections to Denodo to the Denodo Connector, to be able to enable SSO. However, the Denodo Connector (Denodo.Contents()) does not allow custom queries to be written in Power Query as you can with SQL.Database() or ODBC.Query() statements. This is therefore much needed for our purposes!
