The dropdown for bi-directional filtering is disabled on DirectQuery reports. This makes reporting on star schemas difficult.
This is a big yes! For non-SSAS environmnets (e.g. SAP BW), absence of this feature virtually prevents Power BI to be usable for large, complex data sets.
