Concise case to post: Power BI lacks proactive observability at the visual level. When a visual fails (permissions, query errors, gateway issues), report owners are not notified and must rely on users to report it—if they ever do. This creates: Silent data failures and loss of trust Delayed issue detection and high resolution time Risk of incorrect decisions based on incomplete dashboards In enterprise environments with hundreds of reports, this approach does not scale.
