Advanced trend lines in charts (polynomial, exponential,...)

Thank you for adding the linear trend line, however Power BI would be much more powerful with additional trend line functionality. We would love to see advanced options such as polynomial, exponential and logarithmic trend lines. Essentially the trend line functionality from excel would be perfect

The trend line feature that was recently added is great and much appreciated, but it would really create so much more value to have more advanced features like those mentioned above. Could we also have the option of displaying the R2 or other correlation value? And the fit line equation. Even if the equation couldn't be displayed on the report, it would be nice to be able to see what it is (and copy the text for use elsewhere)

I'd love to see all coefficients for trends, a bit more numbers in this exploratory analysis please 🙂

Hello, Casey said that it is possible to add trend lines but how? Because I do not see this option in Lines charts (only in Scatter chart).

KIND OF FINANCIAL TREND LINES MAY BE INCREDIBLY USEFUL LIKE MOVING AVERAGE, FORECASTING, ETC.

Also, if the features such as R-square value, slope etc are displayed (on the line, tabular form, sort-able etc)

A lot of suggestions like this one (conditional formatting for matrices being another example) amount to requests that Microsoft make Power BI more like Excel. One has to wonder whether more effort ought to be put into making Excel work with Power BI than into duplicating Excel's features in Power BI.

while this is still open, I've posted a very basic version Excel-TREND-function for PBI here: http://community.powerbi.com/t5/Desktop/Formula-for-trendline/m-p/86449/highlight/false#M36271 (can toggle number of Intervalls, but no individual slope and intercept)

I agree with this post, this would be a quick and easy fix!
