Support multiple languages within a model as you could in OLAP

- john_nastriNew MemberWould you provide info re: existing capabilities translating labels for Power BI dashboards, and what / when planned enhancements will be available? It is challenging to understand why I would need to build a dashboard per language when this could / should be data driven. But maybe I am missing something?
- john_nastriNew MemberAs a follow on to my comment: I might be able to do this with MSSQLServer 2016 SSAS Tabular and Power BI? I can't do it with any other combination of SSAS (including either tabular or MD) and Power BI? Can I do this with some other MS tool and SSAS? If so, how?
- omar_sakaNew MemberWe are facing the same issues. A live connection to a SSAS Tabular (2016) and are looking for a translation solution. If the business users wants to change a dimension- or value name we have to re-create every visual using the mentioned dimension- and value names.
- thomas_lundborgNew MemberAny news on this? The lack of translation support is kind of a show stopper for us. Need it for both Tabular and Multidimensional models.
- kaarel2New MemberPealse add translation support for multidimensional.
- vladimir_gonchaNew MemberThe multi language support is very crucial for our customers. Please add localization/translation features to Power BI.
- vdiaz1New MemberAt least add a parameter in the connection string so we can choose the locale id
- MezzaroANew MemberPlease add Translation support for Tabular models, otherwise the self service BI capabilities of Power Bi would be zero.
- burchertNew MemberIs there still no progress on this idea? It is really important to deliver Self Service BI!
- kunal_guptaNew Memberyes please please add translation. We are a global company and now have to create multiple versions of same pbix file
