Add tooltip option to slicers

Adding tooltips to slicers would allow people to priotize or identify which filters to apply. Assume you were to share a sales report and it contains a slicer that allows you to filter data by store. The slicer works perfect if you have a predefined intention of checking specific stores (for whatever reason), but imagine I´m new in the staff; having a tooltip would help me identify the important stores as I am scrolling through the slicer. That tooltip could have a store ranking, amount of people employed at the store for example.

I wish I had this in handy. When enabling single select, and RLS, switching users shows data as nothing selected causing confusion to the users. Only after selecting a value from the single select slicer they will see data. A simple tooltip on Slier to show "Please Select an Account" will go a long way

If all you nee to do is direct the use to select an account, one approach I've taken is to use the string "Please Select an Account" as the slicer title. What I need is to be able to display an associated account number with the account name that the user hovers over so please, add a tooltip option to the slicer !

I guess the hierarchy filter does this - https://appsource.microsoft.com/en-us/product/power-bi-visuals/WA200000727?tab=Overview Hierarchy filter - https://xviz.com/blogs/hierarchical-filter-for-power-bi-using-xviz/

It should be obvious to add a tool-tip to almost any object.

I agree with the last comment its NUTS that all objects don't allow a tooltip. For instance say I have state code abbreviations (or any abbreviation) and simply want to see the full description, but no we have to buy a custom visual for that proving its not only possible but obviously something the product should have out of the box
