This is a popular request I see in community after GA. Is there any plan to use AAD to apply role based security in PowerBI desktop or in the service? Many organizations use O365 or willing to use with PowerBI but not all can deploy SSAS..It would be a killing feature.

Row-level security was enabled by roles for data-sets. See here: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-admin-rls/ It is in preview still, and has quite some limitations at the moment, but it is a good starting point.
