It will be great if there is a forecasting feature with designer, like now it having with office 2016 preview.

Can I be informed when the forecasting feature is available in Power BI? Watched some forecasting example videos uploaded 2 years ago via HTML5, and they look great. Not sure why such a useful feature gets removed?

I hope to see this forecasting feature with linear regression, including options to calculate seasonality and etc. That is so easy to implement in Excel, and is so inconvenient in Power BI.

Hi Any update on when this may be available Sep/October really interested in using it for predicted Sales revenue and potential customers based on historic data and trends, Thanks, & Great product loving Power BI so far !

Yes when is this going to be available for power BI online. Also, I download Powerbi for desktop but you don't have the option to connect Xero?!?!?!?! How can I use this forecasting feature when I can't connect my data!!!???

The forecasting feature is great, but at the moment has some limitations. It would be good it the limitations are solved within the next releases 1. It only works with one line in the line chart 2. It does not work as soon as you filter the data in your page, whether through another visual in the page, a slicer in the page or a filter within the line chart or the page

I have the latest version of Power BI Desktop loaded (2.39.4526.362). I've enabled the Forecasting feature and restarted Power BI. I created a single series line chart and the option for Forecast does NOT show in the Analytics pane. What am I missing?

Did the same like christopher and have the same problem. Just have the possibilty to draw some average, median, ... lines but no forecast. What is the problem?

thx for answering. This is just stupid. So I can't have a forecast on weekly base?!
