Add animated "Play" axis on the Bubble Chart

The Play ability in a Bubble Chart is a great way of discovering and visualizing trends. The current manual way of interacting with the timeline is not really useful.

And not just for the bubble chart- other visualisations can really make an impact when animated over time

As @Suellen said, why would it be in Power View and not in Power BI.

You should mirror Power View. It is in Power View.

I don't get it, why can we not use the reports in the same manner in which they have been developed in PowerView - what's the point then......I'm highly annoyed!!!

I understand your frustration there (Anonymous) but remember that PowerView was from Silverlight and PowerBI uses newer HTML5, so it's not just a matter of porting over code from one project to another. That being said, I would LOVE to see the PLAY axis on scatter charts. (2 Votes from me!)

Did this not get implemented with Power BI Designer Desktop? Maybe, I missed it. If not, is there any word on when?

Would it not be helpfull to just show the value which you have in the table on the axis. So you avoid the play axis. I would like to show a fixed periode in the bubble chart over time. Just to show the total costs as size and on the Y-axis the number of sales and the X-axis the date?
