Hello Power BI Team,
I would like to request the addition of Persian (Solar Hijri) calendar support in Power BI.
Currently, Power BI only supports the Gregorian calendar, which makes it very difficult for users in countries like Iran and Afghanistan, where the official and widely used calendar is the Solar Hijri (Shamsi/Jalali) calendar.
Having native support for the Persian calendar in date slicers, visuals, and date formatting would greatly improve usability for a large number of users in these regions.
This feature is highly important for businesses, government organizations, and educational institutions that rely on Power BI but must work with official Persian dates.
I kindly ask you to consider adding this feature to Power BI’s roadmap.
Thank you for your attention and support.
Best regards,
Hamed
