Add Simple Alias Option for Column Field Values in Power BI Desktop
Add easy capability for users to alias values in Column (field). Tableau has provided this feature to users in an effortless way from almost day 1. Right now this has to be done in Power Query using M or in Desktop using DAX. I have found an overkill shortcut of using the group function just for the purpose of creating aliases. It may seem like a low value feature, but I cannot emphasize enough how much self-service value this seemingly little thing will bring to the business user. It will probably be one of the top 10 used features by the novice user.

It is a basic thing required. we need to modify the display text, specialty long values. out of box in tableau.

Agreed. Tableau has had this feature for years. It is a very useful and needed feature. Creating calculated columns is not a very efficient solution.
