The Matrix view needs a horizontal scroll bar just like the Table view. It appears at the bottom for large cross tabs but is not enabled and the data gets cut off, forcing me to switch to table view.

- LISALIU1New MemberHi Chris, horizontal bar only scrolls on numeric columns for the Matrix visual as per design. You would have to place all your non numeric columns to the left of the view, and all the numeric columns to the right in order to enable the horizontal scroll capability. Hope this helps. Please let us know if you have any further question on this.

- 10017465New MemberThe horizontal scrollbar on the matrix is required, some of my users like the way the matrix presents the information but are unable to scroll across when a lot of columns are added on the matrix
- pbiideas1New MemberI'm not convinced that concluded this to be 'by design' is really listening to the users with this one, as I feel this one is a pretty significant shortcoming for the matrix visual..? I find this to be a constant bugbear when many of my matrix visuals require large amounts of non-numeric/informational rows preceding the value fields, which pushes the values fields off the end of the available page space in the report (making the scroll bar impossible to use anyway!). Would it be possible to simply have TWO scroll bars at the bottom? One for the Values section, and another one for the preceding data/information section, which would visually appear a bit like a 'split screen' view in Excel?
- vvillagrasaRegular VisitorThis limitation y a great drawback, for example when showing tabular data for all the days in a year. I can show only columns for the firs four months. It' is right to think that can be solved filtering the columns, but not always can be solved that way and, anyway, it must be an election of the user who views the data, not a system limitation.
- angela_romanNew MemberWe need this feature to be added as soon as possible. The matrix table has great capabilities if it did not have this limitation. I do have the scroll bar included in the matrix but it only works on values and not rows. This set back is preventing different reports that I could create because the view is limited.
- rajul_rastogiNew Member'+1 - Not sure why MS would disable this feature in Matrix. We need this ASAP
- dillan_patel1New MemberPlease add this. I feel like it's a very basic addition, but necessary for many visualizations to work.
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberIn number of cases company has long list of rows (subcategories) and matrix report is not visible. There is no option to scroll. Partial alternative is using table if there is only on total row, but if you need several subtotals, matrix need to be used. Please consider adding this option.
