Add Filter in Data View PowerBI Desktop

Hi, I was hoping if you could add Filter Option in Data View Tab like Excel or PowerPivot. This would make cross checking super convenient Regards, Sami

Yes, I have often wondered why this feature was missing; seems I am not the only one. Would be very useful.

Definitely need the filter. Comes in handy all the time and is needed to determine errors in our formulas and sometimes problems with the data.

The filter button is a hole that should be filled.

'So, the filter buttons in Power Pivot are pretty basic, and not as involved as Excel table filter options or those in Power Query. For Numbers... Equals Does Not Equal > >= < <= Between 2 values - Custom Above Options with And/Or For Text Filters... Equals Does not Equal Custom Equals/Does not Equal with and/or

hurray, status moved to "pllanned"! 🙂 Also having a "create hierarchy" button in diagram view (like we have in excel power pivot) would be GREAT productivity booster

That's good news. I often would need this feature to check for plausibility and error handling. Like in Excel's PowerPivot.

Or, you could add the filter wells from the visualization pane to the data view. Copy and paste coding FTW!
