'@Miguel Llopis please update us on your comment that in which particular month, we would be able to use Amazon redshift gateway for refresh purpose. Thanks!
Ah this is disappointing. I would love to use PowerBI. Great product from what I've seen and the price is extremely competitive. However, without Redshift support then it's dead in the water from my POV
'@Miguel Llopis any update? Because we are choosing the BI Tool, and we already use AWS Redshift... So, that's a big issue for us, because we can't refresh our data in the cloud without a Gateway! Do you have any ETA? Tks!
It's still Beta and I don't think it's SSL https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/19337296-redshift-encrypted-data-source-support
In the current set up, Redshift connection does not allow to flexibly write and edit SQL made queries. Is this something on the roadmap? I know that there is the ODBD way, but I would consider it a hack, rather than a fully stable solution. Without SQL flexibility, the Redshift connector capabilities are largely diminished.
When will it be added to the gateway? This is needed to access Redshift instances in private subnets. That's where lots of instances reside because of security purposes.
