A filter can be applied to a Report via a tile, via a slicer or via filters. However it is very difficult for the user to know whether a filter has been applied. There should be an indicator on the report identifying that a filter has been applied. On clicking that indicator, one should get a list of all the filters applied on the report with the ability to deselect filters as required.

- nishalitNew MemberPart of November release as preview! From visual header, one can hover / click on the filter icon to see filters/slicers applied to that visual.
- Vincent_Chuffa1New MemberACTIVE FILTERS AS A VISUALISATION OBJECT This active filter indication / description could populate a special tile/visualisation element, so as to be placed, and formatted according to the need. Better solution than a fixed footer or place on the page.
- tibor_szentgyorNew MemberThere could also be useful a "Clear all filters" button as well, and perhaps a "Restore default filter level" too, that would change filters to their status from the last saved file version.
- MikeDonnellanAdvocate IMany ideas/suggestions here are related to this one. Users need to be able to see the filters that are currently applied to their data.
- michalkoblasaRegular VisitorReally important one from user experience point of view.
- ed_hansberry4New MemberAgreed. It would be very helpful if for the FILTER icon in a visual to have some sort of visual indicator that that visual is being filtered, sliced, or cross-filtered.
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberI consider the user experience is still not the best. I would like to have the 'indicator' mentionned in the idea and a more flexible solution with the possibility to add the slicers I want. So I developped my own solution. Please have a look at this one minute video : https://thebipower.fr/index.php/2019/02/01/add-a-filter-page-to-your-report/
