In Tableau we have action filters (like on click, menu and Hover), which we can apply for the specific charts in the report instead of applying to all the charts.

- lfurlongNew MemberI concur that we need this functionality.
- yugesh_talatiNew MemberAction filters are very much required in Power BI too...
- jochenj1New Member'+3, absolut neccessary to compete with Tools like Tableau. It should be possible to save a "filter Profile" for all current filters (set on filter bar and visuals) and to reload this filter Settings as needed. This provides an "analytics walk" and allows users to "find" Insights again they have reached during working with Reports. Following Link Shows How it is implemented in Tableau https://onlinehelp.tableau.com/current/pro/desktop/en-us/qs_actions_filter.html Related Ideas: https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/16997920-filter-bookmarks https://ideas.powerbi.com/forums/265200-power-bi-ideas/suggestions/11012898-set-selections-from-visualizations-as-report-filte
- fbcideas_migusrNew MemberI have a scenario where one slicer user interaction (user selecting a single value) needs to result in another slicer (date range) being prepopulated with a default value (based on two computed columns for the range limits). This should only happen when the user changes the original slicer, and should not prevent the user from overriding the default settings. Call it action filters, or event based actions, but it would be very important. Of course there needs to be some thought to prevent circular references, but that can be managed.

- luciana_rodriguNew MemberI miss this action filters feature. It enriched my work.
- ajmonsalverNew MemberHi, something that worked for me was to select the chart I want to filter by > select "Format" on "Visual Tools" pane > select "Edit interactions" > you'll notice that all your charts (except the one you first clicked on) will display a series of icons on their top-right-hand side > click on the icon that has a funnel shape > after this, the two charts will be "connected" or "related". You'll need to do this with all your charts and you'll have to do this with every chart so they're connected to the rest. It's exhausting if you have many charts but it's the only solution to apply action filters. Hope it helps! :D
