Ability to export Data from PBI Desktop to Excel

I tried to export data to excel (.xlsx) and only open option to (.csv). In help, we view an example that show option in excel and csv. In Excel, 150,000 rows limit is better than 30,000 rows limit from csv.

Main problem is the rows limit; increase the limit to 150k or add the same export features than webapp version.

Why does PBI desktop restrict the number of rows one can download? I don't understand why there is a limit to begin with? Why can't it equal the available rows in excel? Or at the very least match the Service download limit

huge shortcoming that you can only export 30K rows in csv. This is an important enhancement

There are times when you simply need to extract the data to work on the file. 30K limit is rediculously low, I would even argue that 150K rows is inadequate when excel can handle 1 million+ This is a huge shortcoming in what is otherwise an excellent application. When will this be resolved

I need the ability to have users filter on their own data and export to EXCEL - There is a single large Power-BI model with over 70 users. Currently the managers split the files and email them to the users. Having the ability to export in EXCEL is necessary - as they need to can keep track of their actions related for each line in the exported data. Allowing Self-Service to users directly to Excel, in excess of 30K records is a huge

Agreed, limitation of 30,000 rows on a data export to excel is a joke. Hope this is fixed soon.
