Abbility to connect Power BI Desktop to datasources created with the Power BI REST API

Since there a lot of features currently not available with the API (relationships, dynamic web urls etc.) it would be great to be able to create reports with Power BI Desktop using the data sources published with the REST API. Especially when using FIFO tables there is currently no workaround like creating datasources in Power BI Desktop and pushing data to those with the API.

Strongly agree. This would also allow us to develop dashboards locally, have version control, full set of desktop functionality etc
