Sometimes I use slicers to filter my reports and create my own filter area. However using the Power BI filters pane is more efficient when it comes to space for my visuals. Also there are other advantages with PBI filters pane, e.g. to use "clear all filters" option as botton action.
There is one disadvantage with the filters pane. That is to organize my filter neatly.
Especially for less advanced users, it should be more useful.
Some made up examples below, but of course you should be able to remove and change or remove the visable frame of the table.
So visually, the possibility to make it look like lining up your own slicers. Most important though is to be able to use sections like in a table and maybe create extra space so that you canidentify e.g. different sections. Not nexessary that the filters look like slicers.
