Ontology model context: Baby Routine Tracking
This ontology models and represents a real-world parenting and childcare scenario - a baby’s daily routine by capturing caregiver-logged activities such as feeding, sleep, and diaper changes, along with related observations and emerging behavioral patterns. The model is designed to represent how caregivers monitor and record an infant’s routine in a structured way, enabling better visibility into the baby’s habits, comfort, and overall well-being over time.
The relationships between entities were designed to reflect meaningful real-world interactions - for example, activities are performed for a baby, logged by a caregiver, and may contain observations that contribute to deriving routine patterns. The specialized activity entities (Sleep, Feeding, and DiaperChange) extend the central Activity entity to create a scalable and semantically organized structure while keeping the ontology easy to understand and analyze.
