When trying to update an exsisting event stream , I get the error below
Failed to publish changes Failed to publish topology changes.

I am not gettign any specific error message but just can't publish the changes. Has any one faced this issue before? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I raised ticket with Microsoft support. They indicated that fix was rolled out but no luck. I don't have any issue creating a new eventStream but only with the existing ones.
I get this error when I try to add a filter or a new destination or update a existing destination. In short , whatever I do I get this error. My source is a custom endpoint and lakehouse is the destination.
Hi @prarajen ,
I tested it and did not encounter the same problem you are facing. I also tried to add, delete or change other data sources, other destinations, and other transformation operations. Except for errors when the schema is changed (for example, adding a column or deleting a column will cause the final output schema to be different from the schema in the existing destination and cause an error), no other errors occurred.
I suggest you open a support ticket to get more detailed information and a dedicated Microsoft engineer will come to solve the problem for you.

Interesting. Can this be due to capacity that I use? I use F2. can there be any limitation? I really appreciate your suggestion and thank you for looking into this matter. I will contact the MS support.
Kind Regards,
Prakash
Having the same issue, but when I try to create a new event stream. Why, how is this possible? No error, no details, just "Failed to publish changes Failed to publish topology changes." What does that mean? How do I know what is happening, from this message?
No clue. Support team told that they rolled out a new update for versioning of eventStream couple of weeks ago. Since then I have been facing this issue. But no issue for a new Stream event.
Hi @prarajen ,
I tested it myself hey and didn't encounter the error you guys are talking about. Can I ask you exactly what operations you performed and what is your data source and destination? It will help me to reproduce the problem.

Dino Tao
What kind of update are you trying to do?
I got a similar error when trying to add a Filter before an Activator destination
