Pushing Backlogged Input Events

Hi,

I have an eventstream with an EventHub as a source. I can send data through the stream to a lakehouse, but there is 1 event 'stuck' at backlogged as I had not attached the lakehouse to the stream when the event came in.

How can I force backlogged input events to the lakehouse?

BW

    Hi bw_chec ,

Unfortunately, there isn't a direct way to force the backlogged event to the lakehouse. However, you can try reprocessing the event by temporarily disconnecting and reconnecting the lakehouse destination. This might trigger the event to be processed again.

Use the monitoring tools available in Microsoft Fabric to check the status and performance of your eventstream. This can help you identify any issues that might be causing the event to get stuck.

    Hi bw_chec ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

In most cases, backlogged events are eventually consumed by the destination. When the volume of input events decreases, the backlog events should be processed to the lakehouse.

    Thanks,
