Apologize if this is a newbie question, but I am trying to learn Power BI custom visual development.
After following the instructions in https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-bi/developer/visuals/environment-setup?tabs=windows and installing the certificate I created a blank Power BI visual using pbiviz new. When I run pbiviz start and go to https://localhost:8080/webpack-dev-server/, I see the following screen:
This should display "Update count" if I'm not mistaken. What am I doing wrong?

Hi @ItAccounts,
The local dev server is used to host the visual package up to the Power BI Service, where you will need to use the developer visual within a Power BI report there to see/debug your visual.
Here's the appropriate part of the tutorial that mentions this, with the necessary steps to enable the developer visual for your current session. If you don't see your visual after enabling the developer visual, and adding it to the canvas, double-check that your local certificate is setup correctly and re-start the dev server.

Daniel
