I'm getting an error when I use the command: pbiviz --create-cert
I installed the tools per: npm i -g powerbi-visuals-tools and it went fine.

Solved! Go to Solution.
I can't find any updated documentation to this effect (unfortunately), but the latest tools (3.0 and above) just uses the --install-cert parameter, which does the create and install in one step.
If you run pbiviz with that parameter, you'll get the cert passphrase in the console window, which you can copy/paste into the install dialog when prompted.
