increase number of data point?

I've created a custom visual to be able to work around the 3500 data point limitation for visuals (e.g. scatter). However, whatever value I set my dataReductionAlgorith to (top { count:100000}} ) I get capped at 30000 data points.

I've tried both table, categorical and matrix. Is there a way to go further here?
