filter reset- excel power pivot on cube

Hi,

I want to cover this here and in the excel (can someone send me a link as to where i can post on an excel board?)

I have an analysis  services cube that we connect to in Excel as well as Power BI.  There is a slicer on a customer and every month when they run it, We will get a query the level .....object was not found in the cube when the string was parsed.  There is also filters on year/month.

I typically find that it occurs when we have customers that may not have had ordered last month that have ordered this month, so the record is not checked on the filter.  The refresh fails with this error.  Once they know it occurs, they then have to go in to the filter and select it.  This causes issues when i have multiple tabs/reports but i can work around that.  It is just a nuasance expecially if multiples are missing.

Has anyone had to work around this before?
