Hi, I share a set of reports with my client (an external user).
Their permission type is the viewer.
I'm looking for a way to allow them to send their users Excel / PDF exports of the reports on demand.
I also need them to have an independent option without relying on me to schedule these reports, in terms of setting schedules and not just an export and immediate send button.
Is it possible via paginated reports/power automate or other tools?

Hi @Ritaf1983 ,
Power BI has no out-of-box solution that meets your requirement. Especially if each PDF / Excel combination is to be uniquely filtered for the recipient (end-user).
If you are open to using third-party solutions, BI Helper https://bihelper.tech may meet your requirement.
BI Helper is a popular and easy to use SaaS application that automates the generation and emailing of user-specific PDFs (with filters and slicers applied). It is secure, scalable and works with a Power BI Pro / PPU license for the sender. It doesn't require Power Automate or any other add-ons.

User Exporting Power Bi Reports to Excel or PDF
From Power BI Service:
Open the report in Power BI Service.
Click on the Export button in the toolbar above the report.
Select Export to Excel (.xlsx).
Open the report in Power BI Service.
Click on the Export button in the toolbar above the report.
Select Export to PDF.
Using Browser Print Options:
In the browser (e.g., Chrome), you can also use the browser's print option to save the report as PDF.
Right-click on the report canvas and select Print.
Choose Save as PDF as the destination.
Permissions: Ensure that users have appropriate permissions to export reports. Users with Viewer role can view and export reports.
Thank you for your response, but this is not what I asked.
What prevents them from running the exports themselves?
Hi @lbendlin
I think that they send the reports to other users inside the company.
The problem is that they made the migration from other tool that has this options.
