What can I implement in my API to be able to authenticate PowerBI?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @Anonymous ,
As far as I know, there should be two ways to authenticate Power BI for API, one is UserName and Password, another is Service Principal.
UserName and Password is to use the account which has access to Power BI.
To configure Service Principal, you may refer to this offical blog.
For more details, you may refer to this offical blog about how to embed for customer in Power BI. There are two authenticate ways master user (UserName and Password ) and Service Principal as above. You can follow the steps and you can also download the sample in this blog to have a try.
