What API can a client app use for downloading reports from Power BI service/server in PBIT format?

Our client application will need to download in PBIT format all reports stored in a workspace on Power BI service/sever.   We couldn't find endpoints in Power BI REST API that allow download or exp...

    HI dmitryk-rs,

    AFAIK, pbit are template file of power bi repot. Current power bi does not inlcude any feature to export pbit file. I'd like to suggest you to submit idea for add support to export/download the pbit version files from power bi report.

Section 2. Option: 

  • s3: Store the pbit files in a S3 bucket and specify the bucket name and path where the files are stored.

It would be nice to be able to automate the process of getting pbit files into an external storage location, so that they can be ingested for lineage tracking. Doing so would be made a lot easier with this feature.
