View Power BI reports in SharePoint

I'm thinking of displaying Power BI reports on SharePoint so that my company members can see them.

I have Azure, but I don't have Power BI F64.

I'd like to know what is possible and how much it costs.

・Power BI Report Server,..SQL Server Enterprise
・Power BI Embedded,..Not sure if possible
・Fabric F64,.. Expensive
・Other

Thank you in advance.

One option that I can think of is

Buying Power BI Embed capacity and embed your reports in a web application. It is a cheaper option than F64

https://azure.microsoft.com/en-in/pricing/details/power-bi-embedded/

Considering you have large number of audience and buying pro license for each person would be expensive you need to configure Power BI Embed for external users, this way users does not need to login to Power BI and they wont need Pro license to access your content. But in order to secure your content I would suggest you to build a authenitcation mechanism for your web application.

Lastly, there is one another option which is not a secure option. i.e if your content is not sensitive then you use the built in option that is "Embed report -> Publish to web (public)". This option would generate a embed URL and anyone can access your content if they have this URL

I don't have much knowledge about Embed, so I'll look into it.

Thank you.

If you want to embed power bi reports in a sharepoint site then you dont need Fabric F64 ot Power BI report server.
You can opt for Power BI pro licenses for both developers and report consumers. I am assuming everyone in your organization has Microsoft 365 license bundle with Sharepoint included.

You can easily embed a Power BI report in a sharepoint site, or if your M365 license includes Microsoft Teams license then you can embed a report in the Teams channel as well. If you want to go ahead with this option you need to share this report to all your target audience and it might ask for a user login before rendering the report. This option would be cheaper than F64 for smaller audience.

Thank you for contacting us.

I am aware that it is possible to distribute Power BI Pro or use Fabric F64.

There are about 700 users, and not all of them view the data frequently, so
I wonder if there are other low-cost methods.

Thank you in advance.
