Trying to get Data from Lakehouse to On-Prem Excel

Hey,

So I posted a few days ago about something similar but Im trying to get data into excel On-Prem by either using SQL endpoint or OneLake but it seems that everytime I try and connect it gives some network related SQL error.

We are behind a VPN but no luck trying to connect.

Any help would be grealty appreciated on how I could securely get data On-Prem behind our VPN.

According to your statement, I think your issue should be caused by network.

Here I will give you some suggestions on your issue.

1. Please ensure that your VPN allows outbound connections to the specific ports and domains required by your Lakehouse and SQL endpoints. You might need to work with your network administrator to verify this.

2. If you're using Microsoft Fabric, you may need to set up Private Endpoints for secure and direct access to your Lakehouse data. This setup bypasses the public internet, potentially offering a more stable connection through your VPN.
