Embed tokens with Pro or Premium Per User (PPU) license are intended for development testing, so a Power BI master account or service principal can only generate a limited number of tokensPurchase a capacity for embedding in a production environment. There's no limit to how many embed tokens you can generate when you purchase a capacity. Go to Available Features to check the usage value that indicates the current embedded usage in percentage.

To consume Power BI content you need an access token. Depending on your solution, this token can be either an Azure AD token or an embed token.When there are tokens in use in your test environment, 0 will not be displayed

Hello,

I can't find how to start consuming tokens. I need to see what is their usage? All time I am getting 0 usage.

@PowerrrBrrr  I need a help.

Helper III

this is token generation usage (in %) on shared capacity. So it seems the token when generated will always be zero first time.

@PowerrrBrrr

How to check real state, usage of it? I have to sign in report and then run featureName but result still 0.

So if my Power BI version is PRO, it uses embedTrial token?

Thats right... it is using the free tokens for now.. once you start consuming this tokens you will receive a notification that you have used 50% of your token and should switch to a capacity plan.

I need a help.

@PowerrrBrrr   I can't find where to start consuming embed tokens in Power BI. Always see just 0 as embed tokens usage.

So how to start consuming these tokens?

I have tried also to add parameters like appId, reportId etc, but still token usage is 0.

@PowerrrBrrr  Before switching to a plan I need to check current usage of tokens, need to plan before possible accounts augmentation. Do I need to sign to workspaces, reports, applications in Power BI or how to activate these tokens to see the real view?

@PowerrrBrrr  So Power BI PRO version always use embedTrial tokens? When tokens are starting consuming - when we sign in to application report, workspace or in another case. I also tried to sign in to application and then run featureName command but usage was 0? So how to see the real situation?
