Swappable tab display in mobile version

Hello, I'd like to know if it's possible on Power BI to set up a tab system that displays different content depending on the tab selected, while still being swappable in the mobile version.

Specifically, I'd like the total width of the tab buttons to exceed the width of the screen, but for users to be able to scroll to select the tab they want.

I already know it's possible to do this by slightly circumventing certain limitations, but I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter and if you have any other suggestions.

Here are the possibilities I've considered so far:

  • Create a block containing basic swappable tabs, usable with the finger.
  • Add an arrow to scroll through the block of tabs to select the desired one.
  • Workaround: set up a non-automatic carousel with tab buttons in PNG format, each button redirecting to the right page.

What do you think? Do you have any other ideas or suggestions to share?

Hi @aliceokuden,

>>Specifically, I'd like the total width of the tab buttons to exceed the width of the screen, but for users to be able to scroll to select the tab they want.

AFAIK, if your report include the content which larger than the screen size, power bi will auto scaling them and switch the display mode to landscape mode with up/down scrollbar.

For your scenario, I think you can try to design a report page with buttons which bind to the different bookmarks and use the to navigate to different report page contents.

BTW, phone layout is work for power bi mobile app. It not mean this layout will auto switched when you try to access power bi service content on mobile app.
