Support for Azure Maps Visuals with Publish to web

I'm receiving the following error message when trying to include an Azure Maps visual in an embedded report, hosted on a web portal:

Screenshot 2023-04-14 142845.png

I chose this visual because I need to include c.8,000 data points and my understanding is that the standard PBI map visualisation only displays up to 3,500 points.

Does anyone know if there's a way around this, or if there's a timescale for this feature to be enabled?

Thanks in advance!

I am facing the same issue!! Were you able to get any solution for your problem?

In terms of meeting your requirements, you're not likely to succeed with any of the current core visuals. If custom visuals are an option for you, Icon Map offers a lot of functionality (including being usable in publish to web scenarios and going beyond the data limits the core visuals have).

I think this is one of the limitations in Azure Map Visual, that Azure map visual cant be availed in Publish to Web.
