Hi,
I logged in using my personal account. I used a link to join the Microsoft 365 Developer Program, however, I didn't get the option to 'Select "Set up E5 Subscription"'. Therefore I cannot create a tenant for Power Platform and as a result I cannot log into Power BI Desktop either, as I'm getting an error that 'a personal account cannot be used to sign in, it has to be a work or school account'.
I'm currently trying to perpare myself for PL-200 exam, and all I need it to have an account to follow the exercises on Microsoft Learn Path.
What am I missing?
Hi @Anonymous ,
Thanks for the links. However the link you sent for free trials or personal licenses isn't suitable for me. It's limited to a short trial period only. With Microsoft 365 Developer account, you are supposed to be given a 90 days free subscription for "Microsoft 365 E5". And if you use it for non-commercial purposes (like learning in my case) then E5 subscription will renew automatically after 90 days. This is what my friends got from microsoft and used it to practice and pass their exams. When I jioned Microsoft Developer program using my persnal account, I was expecting to be given the option to join the "E5 subscription" free tier as well, but I didn't get that option 😞
Hi @HassanKhachal ,
For getting Power BI account, you can refer the following links to do it:
To access the exercises on Microsoft Learn Path for PL-200, you will need a Microsoft account. If you do not already have one, you can create one for free on the Microsoft website. Once you have a Microsoft account, you can sign in to Microsoft Learn with your account and access the PL-200 learning path.
