Hello! Is there a way to subscribe to an embedded report(embedded using service principal) without having to use PowerBI Service? I have tried enabling the action bar in PowerBI playground and trying to subscribe to one of my reports, but it pops up with an alert that its only possible through PowerBI service.
If there is any way to accomplish the said thing without it, I would really appreciate the help 🙂

Hi @alohaes ,
The subscription feature is only available through the Power BI service and is not available for embedded reports. And to create a subscription for yourself, you need permissions to access the particular report or dashboard and either:

@Anonymous is there an alternate way to send emails on a scheduled basis for our users that log in to our application using an api call from a power application (powerbi, powerautomate, etc) or embed the report menu in the frontend? Users need to be able to configure the reoccuring schedule
