Hello,
I've developed a custom Power BI connector to query data from an internal REST API via OAuth, but in order to get it installed in our Gateway I need upstream approval; which would be a lot easier with, say, a SAST report. Is there any such tool available?

Firstly, regarding SAST (Static Application Security Testing) tools, to my knowledge, the official resources do not currently provide such tools. I would recommend seeking third-party software to meet this requirement.
Secondly, here is the official documentation I found on custom connectors, which I hope will be helpful to you:
Trusted Third-Party Connectors in Power BI Desktop - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Use custom data connectors with the on-premises data gateway - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Connector extensibility in Power BI - Power BI | Microsoft Learn
Of course, if you have any new discoveries or questions, please feel free to get in touch with us.
Best Regards,
Leroy Lu
