Power Bi connection to a SharePoint 365 list that includes a lookup column is slowing down our refresh from 30 seconds to 10-14min. The lookup column in the SharePoint 365 list is causing this. We would like to know if anyone is aware of any workarounds or how we can speed this up.
Hi @Anonymous ,
In order to make troubleshooting and give you a suitable solution, could you please provide more details(the conditions and function etc.) on that "lookup column"? Is the lookup column created in Sharepoint as described in the following link? Since it is the cause of refresh slow, if we can exclude this column when connect to Sharepoint list in Power BI and create a similar column in Power BI to "replace" it? Or we can try to check and find if there is any other feasible method to get it...
