Slicers assigned to Matrix

I'm looking to create two side-by-side matrixes and have each of them controlled by a date slicer so that I can compare data based on custom date selections.  Is there a way to assign slicers to visuals or matrixes, so that a slicer on the page doesn't automatically control everything on the page?

Hi,

   You can use "Edit Interactions for the slicer and set which visual should be filtered and select none for all other visuals.
