Setting Regional Formatting for Databricks Connectors

Hello, Dear Community,

We are getting data from Connector Azure Databricks. The Azure Databricks will get the Number only based on the Windows Regional Format setting, regardless of which I set in Power BI.

For Example:

I set my Power BI Regional Formatting to English(United States) both for the current file and globally and set the Windows Regional Format to German; however, I still get the decimal Numbers separated with "," like 1,3.

I must change the Windows settings to get 1.3 correctly read from Azure Databricks.

Would someone know how to set the Format correctly for the Power BI so the Azure Databricks connector will get the desired format?

Thanks!

Best wishes

      Hello, Xiaoxin,

Thanks for the reply.  The manual setting of the locale would partly solve the issue.

But my main pain point would be the setting here at Power BI would not take effect:

For example, even though I have set the English here, the Power BI Databricks Connector still returns the DE format according to the Windows level setting.

I tried the GLOBAL and CURRENT FILE settings. I restarted Power BI after changing the GLOBAL Setting and applied the changes after changing the CURRENT FILE setting. However, both did not work. Is there something I missed?

      Thanks!

      best wishes
