Dear All,
I am trying to connect SAP BW query with that of Power BI. We normally do the "external access check" in SAP BW query and then the query is visible in Power BI.
However in one of our query, even after external check, the query is not popping up in Power BI. Can you help me with this?
regards,
Jacob
Even i cannot pull the fields that are required to build the report in SAP BI, In my case I can see the fields but there are 500+ field and its getting difficult in my case for selecting fields which are required as per material group or customer group, I enabled the characterstics structure but its reducing the amount of fields pulled in but its not giving me the correct output, the BEx query which I have contains conditions and certain strucutre which is defined, Is there any alternative or any other workaround to get past this issue?
Take a look at Use the SAP BW connector in Power BI Desktop (Preview) and check if Enable characteristic structures option helps.
Hi Sam,
I tried this option, but still the BW query does not appear in the search option. This BW query has conditions/ exception aggregations.
regards,
Jacob
