Returning matrix/Table Visual cell level data from a power Bi report to an embeded Web Application

Hi Community,

        I have been developing power Bi reports from quite sometime now & had been using matrix & table visual quite extensively. Recently, I have completed a project on power BI embedding for a client with a .net developer. Embedding part was easy and fun. Now i am stuck with a scenario wherein client wants us to return the data available in cell level of Matrix visual to the web application to show some numbers. I tried finding some resource to understand how it can be done.

    Just being curious, Is this scenario even possible if yes then please guide me to that source which i can refer to complete this task.

What is the exact result you want? There is a JS function that can give us the selected data. Maybe it could help. Please refer to the live demo here.

    Thaks for responding and sharing the embedding playaground link. I am afraid, this was not something i was looking for. Lemme reframe my question and probably it can help you in grasping my issue more technically.

       I need to pass parameters from a .net application to a powerbi report and would like to display the result back on the screen (in .net Application). Please confirm if it is possible to interact with the report directly from .Net application ? If yes than how?
         Please note, I need to fetch and display a selection of data from the entire report , probably a cell level detail from matrix visual or value from a data card, and is not looking to embed the complete report. There are various section of my application where i need to show few details from a power Bi report (like few no. from report or a KPI) & in few section i will be diplaying full report with filters passed from the application.

Note: There is one detailed Power BI report which i am intend to break or filter as per my application user need.

As far as I know, I'm afraid there isn't such a feature available. I would suggest you create an idea here.
