Reset Power BI test version for capacity
Hello,
we are working with a large manufacturer of SoC screens to solve problems with rendering Power BI reports in a third party application (App owns data). To be able to perform a better analysis we would like to share the reports in our Power BI space. We then work with sample reports that do not contain critical information.
After not hosting the environment for three years, we wanted to make it available again. However, we are currently failing to retrieve the embed tokens. We are only getting a 403 Forbidden and I believe this is due to the lack of capacity that is now required.
Since we do not use Power BI for data analysis in our company, I would like to activate a test capacity. This is currently not or no longer available for me. I do have a single-user premium licence, but that doesn't seem to be enough.
Unfortunately, I have not found any other contact point, so I am trying the community.
Thank you for your feedback.
Are you sure that the Fabric trial has been enabled?

If yes, the easiest way to activate it again, it is to create another account in your Microft Entra and then enable Fabric

Hi MaLoFromDim
The capacity is not existing any more in Power BI
They replaced it by Fabric, so you have to enable a fabric trial and you will have 60 days for a trial

Hi Cookistador ,
thank you for the quick reply. My 60-day trial version is no longer available. I know I could activate it via my menu. That's why I'm asking for reactivation.

I was hoping I could reactivate the trial on my account, but OK I'll discuss it with our admins and see if it's an option internally to run it that way.
